Spa rules

AQUA DREAM SPA is a water relaxation centre located at 4 Stirnu Street, Riga. Before visiting the SPA centre, assess your physical abilities and swimming skills. Each swimmer is personally responsible for his/her own health condition. Visiting the SPA centre is not dangerous to human life and health if the following rules are observed. These rules must be observed by all visitors, regardless of age. If a visitor suffers damage or causes damage to a third party by not observing these rules and ignoring the admonitions of the staff, the SPA Centre will not be held liable for the consequences. Before using the services of the SPA Centre, the visitor must carefully read the given rules and must comply with them in the process of receiving the services. 

EACH SWIMMER IS PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER OWN SAFETY AND HEALTH IN THE SPA AREA!

SPA CENTRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Purchase of a ticket confirms that the visitor has read and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the Spa (including gift vouchers and hotel vouchers).
2. On arrival, the visitor pays in advance for the services at the current rates, followed by the issue of an electronic wristband (chip) according to gender. Registration at the entrance records the visitor’s arrival time at the SPA Centre, as well as all paid services.
3. When leaving the spa, guests must return their wristband (chip) to the receptionist. The wristband is used to register the time spent in the spa and the amount spent in the bar or other services during the visit. After checkout, the visitor can leave the SPA area
4. When a visitor enters, the administrator will give him/her an electronic wristband (chip) with a locker key:
5. Children under 8 years are not issued a wristband from the locker.

6. YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BUY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES!
7. Children under 12 are not entitled to use the bar.
8. Visit the SPA centre with children:

• Children are welcome from the age of 1 year.
• Children under 3 years are required to wear waterproof nappies.
• Children under 5 years do not receive a wristband to use the centre’s services, personal belongings are placed in an adult locker. If the chaperone and the child are of different genders, the child’s location in the centre is determined by the gender of the adult. If more than one child is accompanied by one adult, one wristband with a locker number per two children is allocated for changing purposes.
• Children under 8 years of age must use swimming equipment (life jackets, goggles, bathing trunks).
• Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and must be under their strict supervision. The accompanying person must be at least 18 years of age and must be fully responsible for the behaviour of the children entrusted to him/her and for the observance of the rules given.

9. Group leaders or the person in charge of the corporate event can, if they wish, receive a briefing on the rules to be observed by visitors to the spa from the receptionist. Group leaders and persons in charge of corporate events are responsible for all members of their group according to the rules given.
10. At the request of a visitor, the administrator will issue a safe deposit box key, the number of which will be recorded in the electronic wristband. The safe is monitored by video surveillance.
11. During and after the visit, the visitor cannot leave the spa unless the electronic wristband has been surrendered and payment has been made for any additional services or orders used during the visit. If the visitor wishes to re-enter the SPA Centre, he/she must purchase a new entrance ticket.
12. Guests are allowed to wear swimming trunks, flip-flops, a swimsuit or a beach costume.
13. It is compulsory to shower before entering the sauna and pool area and after and before each use of the sauna and pool.
14. Changing and undressing is only allowed in the designated changing rooms, according to your gender.
15. Showering naked is only allowed in the changing room showers.
16. Visitors with bleached, blonde or grey hair are advised to wear swimming caps, as the oxygen used to disinfect the pool water can cause hair discolouration. For this reason, it is also not advisable to wear light-coloured swimming trunks or swimwear.
17. The visitor undertakes to comply with the terms of use of each specific service.
18. In case of full occupancy of the spa centre, the administration has the right to suspend the admission of visitors until the lockers are cleared.
19. Visitor check-in closes 2 hours before the SPA centre closes.
20. The spa area (sauna and pool) must be vacated 30 minutes before the end of the spa opening hours or NOT at the request of the staff.
21. The spa centre must be vacated BEFORE the end of business hours! (22:00)
22. The SPA centre administration reserves the right to change the range of services, prices, opening hours, etc. at any time and without prior notice. No refunds will be granted for the above changes.

3.  TERMS OF USE OF THE MEMBERSHIP:

1.1. Up to 1 visit per day

1.2. The renewal price of the membership card in case of loss or damage is EUR 5.00;

1.3. In the event that your MEMBERSHIP is transferred to another person, it will be cancelled without refund

1.4. The MEMBERSHIP is valid for 2 months.

1.5. In case of illness or holiday, the MEMBERSHIP is not extended

1.6. When purchasing a MEMBERSHIP, the administration registers identification data and an electronic photograph in the database.

4. The spa is not supposed to be visited and is strictly forbidden:

• persons suffering from fever, conjunctivitis, skin and contagious diseases; persons with open wounds or other conditions that may endanger the health and life of other visitors; persons in poor health (cardiovascular diseases, runny nose, head and other injuries);
• persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances;
• animals.

2. A person whose behaviour may endanger the order, safety or hygiene of the SPA centre and/or contravenes the generally accepted rules of behaviour in the community may be banned from the SPA centre.
3. It is strictly forbidden in the SPA area:

• smoke
• shouting, whistling, running (slips can cause injury), hustling;
• jump into the pool from the edge of the pool, run along the edge of the pool and then jump in, dive;
• be in outer clothing, underwear, street shoes;
• not wearing a swimsuit (naked);
• spitting on the floor and in the water, taking care of natural needs outside toilets;
• use the saunas and swimming pool under the influence of alcohol or drugs – the SPA centre staff has the right to refuse services and to expel an intoxicated visitor from the SPA centre without refunding the entrance fee;
• pregnant women to use the saunas, underwater stream and cascade;
• ignore instructions on the depth of the pool;
• children in the pool without swimming equipment (life jackets, goggles, flotation devices);
• visitors who do not know how to swim;
• leaving children under the age of 18 without adult supervision;
• consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors;
• bring in glass objects, drinks and food, except special baby food;
• watering sauna stones in saunas, using cosmetic products (scrubs, masks, honey) and brooms;
• shaving and nail cutting.

5. THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE VISITOR AND THE AQUATIC RELAXATION CENTRE:

1. Visitors who do not comply with the rules, warning signs and notices posted in the spa area, and the admonitions of the spa staff may be expelled from the spa and the value of the entrance fee will not be refunded.
2. As the SPA Centre does not accept visitors’ belongings for safekeeping, but only offers the use of cloakrooms and lockers, the SPA Centre is not responsible for any clothes, documents, mobile phones, jewellery or other items left or lost in the SPA Centre premises, cloakrooms or lockers.
3. Forgotten items (clothes, shoes, valuables, personal hygiene products) are stored for 3 days and destroyed at the end of this period. If the visitor informs during this period, the items will be stored until the period when the visitor stated that he/she would pick them up.
4. Before entering the sauna and pool area, the visitor must carefully check that the LOCKER IS CLOSED.
5. The SPA Centre is not liable for any damage caused by accident, injury or any other cause resulting from the visitor’s negligence or failure to observe the rules.
6. In the event of damage to health and/or property, the visitor shall immediately contact the Spa Administrator to record the location, time and circumstances of the incident. However, if the rules have not been observed, the claims of the spa visitor shall not be considered and satisfied.
7. The visitor is liable for any damage caused to the spa or to the property of third parties. The visitor shall be liable for any damage caused to the spa centres or to the property of third parties.

  FINES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE:

1. EUR 70.00 fine for using brooms, cosmetic products (scrubs, masks, honey, salt, etc.)
2. EUR 70.00 fine for bringing your own food and drink into the spa area – and expulsion from the spa without refund;
3. EUR 70.00 fine for smoking in the spa area;
4. EUR 15.00 fine for loss of wardrobe;
5. EUR 15.00 fine for loss of locker key;
6. EUR 70.00 fine  for taking care of children’s needs outside the toilets.

REMEMBER, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF THE SPA VISITORS!
